The NSW Aboriginal Child & Family Conference is being held 19-21 November 2019 at Opal Cove Resort Coffs Harbour.
Hosted by AbSec, the NSW Child and Family Conference aims to highlight successful strategies for culturally responsive and holistic Aboriginal-led service systems to keep our kids safe within their families, communities and culture and support them to thrive.
A particular focus is on strategies to address the growing crisis of over-representation of Aboriginal children in out-of-home care. This biennial conference is a valuable opportunity for Aboriginal community members, practitioners, managers, leaders and planners to share best practices and hear from other experts in the field on the latest research and advocacy efforts to improve outcomes for Aboriginal children and their families. AbSec is currently seeking abstracts from interested organisations and individuals, on topics retested to the well-being of Aboriginal children and families.
Please see the submission and submit via our website https://absec.org.au/call-for-abstracts.html before closing date Friday 10 May 2019. For more information please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 02 9559 5299.
