2019 SWSLHD Graduate Management Program
Interested in a career in management? Want to make a difference?
South Western Sydney Local Health District Graduate Health Management Program is recruiting for its intake into the 2019 Program.
The aim of the Graduate Management Program is to deliver a program which will best provide the organisation with capable and effective managers who hold a strong commitment to the organisation and health system.
The two-year SWSLHD Graduate Management Program commences in February each year, placing a number of graduates in junior operational management positions throughout the local health district.
The 2019 intake will enable students to undertake a Master of Health Service Management degree whilst working – in a variety of placements to gain broad and valuable work experience. We are seeking students who wish to pursue a career in general management of financial management – please indicate the stream (general or finance) preference within your application.
In addition to management placements, graduates are offered a complete package of support, training and education, ensuring their rapid development over the two years. The program aims to produce graduates who will be competent and capable health service managers ready to continue rewarding and challenging careers within the Local Health District and NSW health system.
Your commitment to the program will come with a number of challenges including learning about the complex health system whilst you complete your Masters degree. Throughout this program there will be a range of support systems in place to assist you in your development.
Applications for the 2019 Graduate Management Program will close at 5pm on Friday 22 June 2018.
Through the SWSLHD Aboriginal Workforce Strategy, the Chief Executive has given a commitment to one position within the Graduate Management Program being made available for an Aboriginal student. Please indicate in your application if you identify as either Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
