The State Library of NSW has an exciting, four-year opportunity for a Library Assistant.
This is a targeted role which builds on the State Library’s commitment to ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have a vital role in shaping the future of the library profession.
The role is for someone who has started a library course or is committed to studying in the future. The successful applicant will develop skills while working in a library with staff who are dedicated to ensuring equal access for every reader and visitor.
The Library Assistant will work in a team and help readers and visitors access the collection. This involves processing tasks such as retrieving collection material and face to face customer service such as helping others to use Library equipment.
