The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal trainee to be a part of our Engineering Services team within Roads and Maritime Services. This position plays a key role in Technical & Project Services.

The trainee is required to assist with duties as directed by the mentor/manager in areas of surveying, laboratory techniques, geotechnical and pavement design, and road design in various locations as assigned through the Aboriginal Traineeship Program. The trainee will undertake a Certificate IV qualification during the 2 year traineeship as part of the program.

We are looking for an Aboriginal trainee who is able to self-manage their career path and ensure all commitments related to training are completed along with the on the job training..
