NAIDOC Person of the year and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Social Justice Commissioner June Oscar wants to hear from Western Sydney’s Indigenous women and girls. As part of the Wiyi Yani U Thangani (Women’s Voices) project, the Australian Human Rights Commission is holding community meetings all across the country to hear directly from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and girls about what matters to them. One of these meetings will take place at Baabayn Aboriginal Corporation, 252 Luxford Rd, Emerton on the 21st of August. Food will be provided. Use your voice, tell them what matters. We look forward to seeing you.
